Many people find wearing fins quite irritating and painful so they use finsocks to protect their feet. This can make your session a much more pleasurable one with the aid of finsocks. Some are made from lycra which can stop you getting ulcers(left) or a rash these are not the most effective finsocks but are reasonably cheap at a price between 10 and 14 dollars per pair. Others are made out of neoprene [wetsuit material] and are thicker than lycra, therefore giving you more protection, these are a bit more expensive but usually worth it they range from about 15 to 30 dollars. Take care of them by washing them out after every surf and don't squash them up in the bottom of your boardbag and leave it. |
