The Reverse Air
Approach the bowly end section of the wave with speed. As you begin to project, keep your legs out of the water to prevent any water resistance. Hit the section and start to spin. Make sure your board is slightly angled up so you can get up and over the section. Use your momentum to spin yourself around as far as you can before you touch back down on the foam. The more speed, the higher you can go, which in turn allows you more time to complete the reverse spin in the air. Keep your body centred and your hands fastened to the board.
As you land on top of the whitewash, keep your legs raised and crossed so you don't catch any edges. Complete the rest of the spin as you float back down the foam. Hold on tight and cruise out of the whitewash.
