The Reverse Spin
Skipper throwing a clean reverse spin as he shoots out of the bowl section at St Leu in Reunion Island could be described as having textbook style. Skip is jamming hard by applying pressure on his inside rail as he turns hard off the wave's shoulder back towards the power source. By throwing his hips and legs fully into the turn and sliding h is weight forward. he will throw his tail all the way around.
In Seq 2, Skipp has completed most of the circle by keeping his board on an equal plane with the wave face. in this position, he will need momentum to pull it all the way around. As in most tricks, speed is the critical factor. Notice his legs are crossed.
In Seq 3, Skipp shows he has the speed to make it all the way as he slides out of the wave's bowl and down the face. He will recentre and continue with the ride.
